While City inspectors regularly check water meter boxes and lids, the City appreciates the help of residents and business owners in reporting problems they've noticed. To report a broken meter box or lid, please use the form below. In most cases, a maintenance worker or inspector will visit the site and arrange for the appropriate repairs to be made as soon as possible.

Water Meter Box/Lid repair requests will be responded to within 10 working days. If your request involves an immediate threat to health or safety, please call the Cerritos Water Division at (562) 916-1223 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. After hours, on weekends or on a holiday, call (562) 860-4018.
